Maybe this one could preface the title page (page 2) with all of the info that needs to be said. Assuming that I know what I'm talking about (which I'm not a hundred percent ) you could put the author and your name on this page in a sort of "Todd and Wes presents..." style, than on the next page above the character you can have the title in large stylistic block letters. I think that could be a great way to introduce this graphic novel. It would be like starting out a movie. The build up than the title pops out at you with a bang.
But that's just my opinion. What do you think you are going to be doing with it? I'd like to get a glimpse . And I don't know an extensive amount of graphic novel design, feel free to correct me if I have no idea what I'm saying (haha).
hahaha. pg 1 has narrator bubbles for each panel, and then pg 2 was actually my idea, because i felt it needed a sweet splash page for impact before pg 2b which is actually the original page 2. i almost have pg 3 done now, so you can see if it works or not.
i had envisioned pg 2 (the splash) as a title page with creators on it near the top. if nothing else, it was just to appease my own desire to draw it.LOL
I found your gallery through the Caballero page 2 at the Daily Deviations - very good work! Now I´m curious - is this story silent (no balloons, just images) or do you plan to put it baloons when it´s published?
Advice: it would be more practical for us to follow the story if you linked the pages.
Just copy the link of one page (CONTROL+C). Then go to the previous page and click on Edit Button. At the comments, CONTROL+V the link you copied and write aside "Next". You can also give link for the previous pages; just do the same at them and write "Previous" aside.
Not bad really. Its really how you interpret it. Caballero is traditionally a knight or gentleman, while Vaquero is a cowboy. But cowboys are also considered the America's knight. Don't think too deeply about it, it doesn't take anything away or mean anything negatively. Just food for thought.
honestly, i wasn't quite sure of the difference. thanks for taking the time to write that. the story and adventure he goes on is really something amazing. hopefully i can put art to the full story, and he'll live up to his name
